There are several ways to celebrate on
New Year's
Eve in Boracay. You can go from bar to bar and gradually
make your way to your favorite haunt, or you
could spend the whole evening enjoying the entertainment
packages featuring visiting performers in
some of the bigger hotels (shows start about 8:30p
and admission costs vary). Wherever you are, customers
spill into the streets in spontaneous street parties.
The resorts present fireworks displays over the water
off White Beach. Make sure you are still standing for
the spectacular show!
Boracay New Years and Holidays, like the
Boracay Bikini Open not surprisingly,
most occur during the high season. During the peaks of high season
it's Boracay Party Time, so if you want to take part in the many Boracay
Events and enjoy live music during your Boracay Vacation, plan your visit
for Christmas and New Year, during Holy Week (Easter) or during school
holidays in May .
Boracay offers many Boracay events during high season that include the
International Beach Volleyball,
Soccer and Frisbee Tournaments,
Boracay
Bikini Open,
Muscle Man Contest,
the Paraw Regatta (
a race for out rigger
s a i l ing boats) and
the Dragon Boat Race.
Boracay events like the above mentioned, some of these you are welcome
to join. The exact dates for many of these Boracay events are not decided
until several months or weeks before they occur. Some seem to happen
spontaneously! Boracay offers a number of important Boracay events that
