AGA, JUDAY, REGINE, at Direk JOYCE Movie AXED
ONCE a year lang kung gumawa ng movie s Aga Muhlach kaya he wants to make sure na magandang proyekto ito.
He was last seen in A Love Story with Angelica Panganiban and Maricel Soriano in 2007 at ngayong taong ito, When Love Begins naman with Anne Curtis ang handog niya sa manonood.
Ayon kay Aga, mas gusto na niya ang ganitong sistema para mapaghandaan niyang mabuti.
“Minsan pa nga, not every year, may movie ako. Like after Dubai (in 2005), wala akong movie noong 2006. I stopped for one year and then, nu’ng 2007, ’yung A Love Story na nga.
“Hindi naman ako umaayaw, kumbaga, kailangan lang maganda, tinitiyempuhan mo lang,” sabi ng aktor.
Sa ngayon, may pinag-uusapan na raw na movie sa kanya for 2008. Actually, napakarami raw offers at bahala na ang manager niyang si Ethel Ramos kung alin ang uunahin.
May offer sa kanya ang Regal Films, pero ayaw pang sabihin ni Aga kung sino ang makakapareha, although may balitang si Marian Rivera raw. Sa Star Cinema naman, may plano raw na pagsamahin sila ni Angel Locsin at mayroon ding offer to do a movie with Claudine Barretto.
May bali-balita ring gagawa siya ng movie with KC Concepcion at ’yung plano rin na reunion movie nila ni Sharon Cuneta, naka-hang pa rin. Ipinagtataka lang ni Aga kung bakit hindi na natuloy ’yung movie nila nina Judy Ann Santos at Regine Velasquez na ididirehe sana ni Joyce Bernal. “Nakakapagtaka lang. We’re supposed to do a movie with Judy Ann and Regine, mga 2003-2004 pa. Kaming tatlo. Eh, hindi natuloy. Si Dyesebel na lang ang ginawa. Ewan ko, tapos up to now, hindi pa rin natutuloy. Siguro merong oras para riyan, darating ’yan.”
Sa sangkatutak na offers, hindi pa masabi ni Aga kung alin ang tinanggap na niya.
Biniro nga namin siya na kung once a year lang kung gumawa siya ng pelikula, sa dami ng offers, baka hanggang 2020, may naka-line-up na siyang gagawin. Natawa lang ang aktor.
Anyway, natuwa si Aga nang mapanood ang trailer ng When Love Begins at aniya’y mas lalo siyang na-inspire. The movie is showing on April 30.

“Pantay naman ang roles namin ni Diet,” says Rafael. “Kaya lang, I appear right away sa pilot episode while he appears a few episodes later pa as the doctor who attends to Claudine.”
Did he watch Eddie Garcia’s performance in the original movie on which the series is based? “I chose not to watch it na lang so it won’t influence me at para hindi ako ma-accuse na nanggagaya. With the help of Direk Wenn, I think I was able to come up naman with my own interpretation.”

“Honestly, no. I only learned how to sing when I was told to join Coverboys in ASAP. I also thought I have two left feet, pero heto, sumasayaw na ako ngayon. We take voice and dance lessons para hindi naman kami mapahiya sa concert namin where we’ll all sing and dance live.”
